Denise is the Principal Partner of CU Pacific LLC and is responsible for overseeing auditing and consulting services to over 60 credit unions ranging in size from $500.00 to $500 million in assets. She brings over fifteen years of professional accounting experience to the credit union industry, including auditing, consulting, and regulatory compliance matters, and over five years with a national “Big 4” CPA firm. Prior to developing CU Pacific LLC, Denise was the Regional Director of Auditing Services for Financial Standards Group, a national auditing firm specializing in credit unions, where she managed the California and Hawaii offices.

Denise has been a speaker at local and national credit union conferences s and workshops, including the Hawaii Credit Union League, California Credit Union League, NCUA, Credit Union Executive Society (CUES) and National Association of Credit Union Supervisory Audit Committees (NACUSAC). Topics include the areas of enterprise risk management, internal controls, supervisory committee training, bank secrecy act compliance, accounting regulatory issues, vendor management, and fraud related issues, including identity theft.

Denise has written several articles for local credit union publications which include topics such as new accounting pronouncements, internal controls, and bank secrecy act compliance. 

Education:

Denise has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Washington and she has completed coursework towards a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of Hawaii. In addition, Ms. Yuh has a Professional Diploma in actuarial sciences from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business.

She is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, the Association of Credit Union Internal Auditors, and American Society of Women Accountants.
